Administering Tests

To take a test, a candidate must visit the eSkill Test Login page at http://es.eskill.com/es/quiz/, and type in their name, email, and the appropriate Test ID. You must provide the Test Login URL and Test ID to the candidates -- either by using the Email link to send it automatically, by posting it as part of a job advertisement, or personally. Each test's Test ID is listed in the Saved Tests table in your Test Center.

Note: If a candidate has a LinkedIn account, he or she can sign in via LinkedIn by clicking the Sign in with LinkedIn button on the Test Taker Login page. Signing in via LinkedIn allows for the login fields to be completed automatically with the first name, last name, and e-mail address from the LinkedIn account.

There are several efficient ways to guide the candidate to the test:

1)      Email the test instructions to the candidate using the Email link in the Test Center. An email message form will appear, and you can fill in recipients' email addresses, separated by commas or semi-colons in the To and Cc fields, and change the subject line and message if you like. Be careful to not modify the Test Login URL or Test ID.

When using the Email link you have 2 options:

2)      Login at the Test Login page yourself, and have the candidate take the test in your presence.

3)      Copy and paste the Test Login URL and the appropriate Test ID in a job advertisement, asking all applicants to take the test in addition to submitting their resume.

Note: If a candidate has already taken a test, you can send him or her another test using the Email button in the Test Results window.
In order to send a test to a candidate who already has a score recorded, follow these steps:

1)      Go to the Test Center menu, and in the Score column click on the Total number of scores link for the test the candidate has taken.

2)      Select the checkbox next to the candidate's score and press the Email button.

3)      A confirmation window will appear. Press the OK button.

4)      In the Select a Test window, choose the test you want to send from the list and press the Continue button, then follow the wizard.

View Test Invitations and Disable an Assessment Link

Now you can view and disable the invitations sent for a specific test by following the steps below:

1)      Go to the Test Center menu and click on the View Test Invitations button for a specific test.

2)      In the window that appears, you can do the following:

Technical Issues

If a test taker reports having any technical issues, please advise him or her to NOT press the "End Test and Submit Results" button. This will end the current test session, and the test taker will not be able to resume taking the test. Instead, have the test taker do the following:

1)      Close the browser window, open a new one, and go to the original link found on the testing instructions.

2)      Log back in, using the same information he or she used initially: First name, Last name, and Email address. An option should appear allowing the test taker to continue the session he or she started.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to seek assistance from eSkill's support staff via e-mail at support@eskill.com, or by calling 1-866-537-5455 / 1-978-649-8010.

Now it is possible to email unique test links to multiple test takers at once.

To do this:

A Unique test link will be sent to each email address from the list. Each person from the list will be able to use this link only once.
You can use "Email History" page to see exactly which URL has been sent to whom.
